We offer two different warranties, dependent on whether a watch is supplied as unworn or worn.
Most unworn watches are covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty. When some of the original warranty has elapsed it is our policy to warranty the watch ourselves to ensure the customer benefits from the same level of warranty they would expect if buying from a high street authorised dealership (such warranties are normally for 2 years with the exception of some Omega watches which carry a 3 year warranty). In the event of a watch needing to be returned under the manufacturer’s warranty we advise that customers contact us first as we are on occasion able to have work carried out more rapidly than might otherwise be possible.
Watches that have been worn and have had a previous owner are all subject to Watch – Consultant 12 month mechanical warranty. However, certain pre-owned worn watches will still have the balance of the original manufacturers warranty remaining.
Conditions of the 12 Month Watch – Consultant Mechanical Warranty
The warranty does NOT cover accidental damage, batteries, the strap or the buckle.
Our warranty is considered void if the crystal lens has been broken or if the watch shows signs of water damage, impact or misuse.
The warranty becomes void if the back of the watch is opened within our warranty period without the authorisation of David Brailsford.
Watches handled by third parties without our express consent are no longer covered by our warranty – your 12 month warranty is with Watch – Consultant and ALL warranty returns MUST be sent to us.
